The animal I saw was on lake Makintosh, near Burlington, NC. We first saw this animal on our canoe from far away. It had its head and an “S” shaped neck out of the water. We thought it was a duck or something. As we neared we thought maybe it was a snake. But, we finally got a decent look at it. From about 20 feet away it almost looked like a baby duck head, but it could not be that because it did not move like a duck. It wouldn’t fly, but rather, it would dive under water, out of sight, for about 30 feet at a time, then resurface. We followed it, but never got a clear view of it. What kind of animal swims with its “S” shaped neck out of the water, constantly dives and resurfaces, and lives in this area?

on earth in a boat and sailing around for over a month, and eating pork is forbidden because pigs are unclean but you can eat a chicken that just ate it’s own crap…is all pretty insane?

I have an idea for an A F D (animal flotation device ), I’m great at drawing stick figures and because of that deficiency I am studying GRAPHIC DESIGN on my own to be able to present my design professionally. I have done my homework and searched the “Net” the world over and have found NOTHING to come close to my design for “cat” AFD’S . My hopes are to just get a “patten pending” , so that I may start marketing the product for PASSIVE income when I leave to go sail the seas’.
can anyone out here direct me into a direction to channel my efforts? I belong to many sailing forums and ALL the polls that I have initiated have given me overwhelming confirmation that MY device would be MOST welcome if placed on the market.!
I wish to have my “CAT” as my safe passenger on my “CATamaran”

Also the procedure seems simple , but the machinations are a conundrum to me . Can anyone assist me with intelligent help?

For instance, i think i would be right in saying that no right minded christian actually believes that a guy calle Noha actually fitted two of every species of animal into a boat and sailed away into the sunset! How can you say that this part of the bible is just a fictional story which ‘has a moral behind it’, but yet believe that some of the bible stories (equally as rediculous) are true fact? Does anyone actually believe that a guy once lived who could walk on water? or that there was a guy who killed a giant by throwing a stone in his eye? I have respect for Christians who admit that these stories are fictional tales or even have some element of truth but have just been exaggerated over time. However, I wonder how these people cannot question other stories on which their religion is based. And if anyone actually believes that any of the above stories are completely true then all i can say is that i feel soory for you for being completely infected by society’s biggest virus-religion

My family and i went on a canoeing and camping trip. We were pushing the canoes into the water when we found a Humerus and Scapula. The humerus is about a foot long. and the scapula is relative size. I want to find out if they belong to a certian animal or…a human. I took the bones to my anatomy and physiology teacher and he says they look like a small childs but he isnt sure.

I dont want to run to the police and be like “OMG ITS A DEAD HUMAN LOOK!” So how can or where can i go to get it identified. When found them in columbus, IN. on the bank of the blue river. Near Fort Autterbury.
I just talked to my teacher and he said the same thing. I am leaving school as of right now to go to the PD. Thanks everyone. If i can ill post what they found as soon as i know!

p.s.- when i picked them up i was thinking about it being an animal bone. I wanted to show my anatomy teacher. I didnt know they might have been human until we actually sat down and looked at them. I hope i dont get in trouble for that.
