When is the ANNUAL Old Town Canoe (Old Town, ME) Scratch and Ding Sale?

Every Spring, the Old Town Canoe company of Old Town, ME has a sale of their blemished canoes and kayaks. They don’t make a big fuss about this event, but the locals seem to know when it happens. There are bargains galore to be had, if you can get there!

I got this reply from the folks there, regarding the 2007 sale:

The spring sale was held on April 13 -15th. We also sell seconds at the Factory Outlet Store in Old Town, ME. For more information on the store please call them at 207-817-8697 or at 800-343-1555 and request to speak to the store.

Thunder Bay, Ontario?

I’m flying North to Thunder Bay Ontario from Toronto Pearson on the 2nd last week of April and I was just wondering if anyone could first tell me if the Northern Lights are visible in Thunder Bay and would it be visible this time of year (April)? Also what is the weather usually like in early spring? Would I be able to go for a jog on some trails or canoe on the Lake? Anyone know of any good short term secluded cottage rentals available? Any other activities you can think of?

Any suggestions welcome.

how to repair a leaking boat?

have a 10 foot Jon alumina boat my grandfathers friend gave him to give me. Me and my buddy used it a lot last spring and summer but when we use it some how it seems to take in water. The water does not come in very fast so we can spend almost all day out in the boat but the water seems to fill up about to our akles and if we need to we just go to shore flip the boat over and then go back in fishing. If we put the boat in the water the water will not start to come in until we get into the boat. We have brough the bought to shore lifted it up to see if the water would come out but it does not and it seems to only come into the boat and we have no clue why or where. If anyone knows how I can try to repair my boat to try to make the water stop comming it please let me know.
